What it is...
Providing a supported, sisterhood space to connect to the ancient medicine of song & sound.
Each month, Elsa will share a short introduction to the astrological & seasonal themes of the moment and insights from Sound Priestess herstory, followed by a vocal embodiment warmup and grounding invocation.
You will then learn one of Elsa’s original sacred songs with accompanying rhythms on the frame drum, for you to take away. There’ll be time for sharing of our experiences with the transformative nature of song, and sharing of songs with the community.
Plus, you’ll receive a guided PDF after each circle with the song and rhythms included to support integration.
**You do not need any experience with song or drumming to attend these sessions**

Elsa teaches the basics of beginner frame drum with variations for intermediate players at all circles.

In the spaces that I hold, we work with the frame drum as a sacred instrument to accompany
and support the healing vibration of our voices to come through.
A ‘Frame Drum’ is any drum wider in its width than its depth. This includes many styles of drum from different cultures including the Tar, Bendir, Riq, Bodhran & Pandeiro. The Frame Drum is an ancient instrument associated with Goddesses of many cultures, including Hathor, Isis, Aphrodite & Cybele. In her seminal book, When the Drummers Were Women, Layne Redmond described the cross-cultural heritage of female drummers.
As our female ancestors did, we are reawakening a connection to voice and drum as a divine feminine calling and legacy.

About your Guide, Dr. elSa field
Dr Elsa Field PhD is a Priestess, Researcher, Sound Healer, Singer & Recording Artist based in the beautiful Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury UK!
A lifelong singer, 11 years ago when I stepped onto my priestess path, I awakened a deep desire to sing for Divine Feminine.
I have released to-date 8 full-length albums/EPs and 8 singles of sacred music, including the collaborative pieces 'Mary Magdalene Frequency' & ‘Hathor Frequency’.
My passion is supporting other women to reclaim their voice as a sacred instrument, and know that they are channels for the Divine Feminine on this planet today!
I am the founder of Myrtle Grove Sacred Sound Mystery School and Priestess of Sacred Sound Trainings (our next class begins August 2025).
I am the co-designer of the Temple of Bowls crystal singing bowl collection.
My research focuses on the study of ancient Goddess cultures and the lineage of the musician Priestess throughout time. I regularly travel to sacred sites around the UK & Mediterranean world to record in ancient sound Temples.
I am excited to be creating this new monthly sonic temple space for you, to explore your own voice and the healing power of song!
